Biography
J. Ralph Gay was a United Textile Workers organizer among four people arrested at Macon during the September 1934 general textile strike. The October Labor Defender’s strike-terror inventory names him individually. It supplies no personal exact arrest day, statutory count, conviction, jail admission, release or actual duration. The initials are retained without inventing their expansion. Source: https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/pubs/labordefender/1934/v10n09-oct-1934-orig-LD.pdf#page=4
