Biography
Isidore Klinghofer was arrested July 31, 1929 for speaking at an antiwar preparatory meeting at 27th Street and Sixth Avenue in New York. The August 3 report and its continuation describe Jefferson Market Court accusations of holding a meeting without a permit and inciting to riot, followed by release in the attorney’s custody for a later hearing. The individual physical discharge day and complete detention are unreported.
