Biography

Isaacs, whose given name is not supplied, was one of two Daily Worker sellers arrested at an open-air Socialist Party meeting in Baltimore. A November 9 dispatch printed November 10, 1932 identifies the arrested workers as Edwards and Isaacs, alleges that congressional candidate Dr. Neistadt ordered their arrest, and reports their release on $100 bail each on disorderly-conduct charges. This qualified name preserves the limited identification and does not merge the person with unrelated namesakes. No exact jail admission, physical discharge date or total custody duration is supplied. Source: https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/pubs/dailyworker/1932/v09-n269-NY-nov-10-1932-DW-LOC.pdf#page=3
