Biography

Helen Prescelic was listed on the ILD's 1932 winter-relief roster of Western Pennsylvania class-war prisoners — coal strikers and sedition-law defendants jailed in the Pittsburgh-district struggles — confined at the Wildwood in Wildwood, Pennsylvania.

The January1932 Labor Defender Winter Aid roster places Helen Prescelic under “Wildwood Cases.” This is a case-group heading, not the name of a prison. The roster confirms the ILD supported this person as a prisoner but does not establish a particular institution, offense, admission/release date, or actual duration. The inherited biography/case institution should not be attributed to this heading alone.
