Biography
Harry Peter Wolf, also recorded as Wolff, was a carpenter and laborer imprisoned in Montana for sedition during World War I. His Beaverhead County conviction was reversed because the charging document failed to identify the words alleged to be seditious. He was released from Deer Lodge on January 21, 1920.
The original Montana State Prison descriptive intake form records actual receipt at Deer Lodge on 1919-03-02 and sentencing on 1919-02-28 in the Beaverhead County state sedition case, with an imposed term of five to ten years. The report date is distinct from prison admission; receipt is not necessarily initial arrest, and the term is not completed time served. No new physical discharge is inferred. The named form includes frontal and profile photographs. Source: https://clcowgill.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/intakeform-m-w.pdf#page=28
