Biography

Harry Bender was one of fourteen defendants prosecuted for protests to Judge Edward Vaught over the May 1934 Oklahoma City relief case. The March 15, 1935 dispatch says he pleaded guilty the previous week and received six months and a $500 fine. Five co-defendants denounced him as a business-group provocateur; that allegation is attributed rather than treated as a judicial finding. Exact personal custody endpoints are unprinted.
