Biography

Harold Sumlin is individually named as arrested on April 17, 1970, in the Cairo parade incident. The chronology says Sumlin could not keep up with the marchers; it supplies no individual statutory charge. The United Front of Cairo chronology presents these prosecutions as part of racist repression of Black community organizing. This is the defense publication’s account; it does not establish an individual final discharge or a complete custody duration.
