Biography
Guy Davis was a conscientious objector from Wisconsin imprisoned during World War I. Court-martialed for refusing military service, he was held at Fort Leavenworth. Sentenced to 25 years in prison. 1920s incarceration-date precision review: The archival database gives imprisonment on December 10, 1918 or as late as December 24. Only December 1918 is securely shared by those alternatives, so the exact December 10 admission is replaced by month precision. The release endpoint and missing photograph remain unresolved.
