Biography
Gokhan Gun, a civilian Defense Department engineer with a top-secret clearance, was arrested on August 9, 2024 after agents found classified documents at his home as he prepared to travel to Mexico. He pleaded guilty to unauthorized removal and retention of classified material and was sentenced on June 17, 2025 to eighteen months in prison, three years of supervision, and a $25,000 fine.
