Biography
Gladys Wallace was arrested during Gastonia textile-strike picketing. The May 20 dispatch reports a conviction at the preceding Saturday’s hearing, indicating May 18, 1929, followed by an appeal and completed release on fifty-dollar bail. It does not establish the personal arrest or gate-release day or the full period detained.
