Biography

Giuseppe Amari of East Boston was an anarchist activist repeatedly arrested and prosecuted during the Sacco and Vanzetti agitation, according to the October 16, 1965 obituary in L’Adunata dei Refrattari. It reports he died October 3, 1965 after a long illness at age seventy-five and describes over forty years of activity, survived by his companion and two daughters. It does not state individual arrest days, charges, verdicts or completed detention lengths.
