Biography

George Winski was arrested in November 1917 in the roundup of IWW members in Omaha, Nebraska. After over eighteen months in local jails, all charges against him were dropped.

The March 1920 One Big Union Monthly prisoner roster provides a contemporaneous procedural account. The roster lists an Omaha federal conspiracy indictment dated September 21, 1918, and bail of $10,000. This attributed indictment report differs from existing no-indictment wording; neither account is silently replaced.
