Biography
Marshall names George Rucher in his list of people arrested and confined from Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. The printed table gives residence as Luthersburg, Pennsylvania and age at arrest as 55. The list follows accounts of the wartime arrests of Jacob Hubler, Jacob Willhelm and J. Blake Walters, but does not supply an individual charge, arrest date or release date for this person. The accompanying narrative reports that Rucher died in the Harrisburg guardhouse after learning of his wife's death. Source: John A.
