Biography

George Issaski was described in the April 4, 1935 Daily Worker’s account of company rule in Aliquippa as arrested, stripped, taken before a medical board the writer calls phoney, and confined in an asylum. The report says he was released only after Governor Pinchot ordered an investigation at the Pennsylvania Security League’s request. The writer places this involuntary commitment within company-police repression of workers; precise dates, medical grounds and duration are not supplied.
