Biography
George Allen, reported aged 22, was a cafeteria striker whom the April 26, 1929 newspaper individually says had been arrested previously. It reports an April 25 workhouse sentence of 2 days instead of a ten-dollar fine. The earlier arrest establishes actual custody; sentencing alone does not prove workhouse receipt or full completion.
