Biography
Ebhramanollo, a fireman aboard the Standard Oil tanker Comeric at Tenth Street, Long Island City, was individually reported arrested after the crew demanded shore leave. The June 21, 1928 account says both named arrested crew members suffered fractures and bruises during the police assault. A requested day off is not a one-day custody term. The source’s description of the crew as Hindu is contemporary terminology and does not establish an individual religion.
