Biography
Earl Satcher was a Black Panther prisoner at Soledad. Contemporary reporting individually places him in the exercise yard during the January 1970 shootings. He later founded Tribal Thumb. The date and original charge of that Soledad imprisonment remain unverified. He died in a San Francisco shootout in April 1977; historical accounts disagree on the exact day.
