Biography

Dorian Williams is an environmental activist who participated in the RAMPS Hobet mine action while studying at Brandeis University. Williams reported ten days in jail after the July 2012 protest against mountaintop-removal mining.

2010s audit verified October 12, 2026: The Brandeis Hoot's original August 24, 2012 report interviews Williams and confirms the July 28 arrest, later plea and release, without an individual release day. The four-day calculation from an August 1 month placeholder was removed. Existing conflicting individual-day accounts remain unresolved; no day is derived by subtracting a reported duration.

The Justice also gives a conflicting July31 hearing/release date, inconsistent with its ten-day account and the contemporary RAMPS custody updates; that day is not entered.
