Biography

Donald Lister was associated with Grassroots, Incorporated, a Dallas organization formed after a split in the local National Committee to Combat Fascism. Adam Nolan’s 2014 thesis reports imprisonment for wounding a police officer during an April 1973 raid. Footnote 99, citing Ava Wilson’s research, reports a minimum fifty-year original sentence and eleven years actually served in federal and state prisons after he researched and appealed a reversible error. Exact custody endpoints and the date and legal form of that relief remain unverified. Source: Adam Nolan, Southern Injustice and Radical Discontent (2014), p. 37, footnote 99.
