Biography

Devonte Clark (identified as Devante Clark in the Harris complaint) was arrested during the Akron protests following the police killing of Jayland Walker. The complaint states that he was held from July 4 to July 5, 2022, charged with riot, failure to disperse, and misconduct at an emergency, and that those charges were dismissed on March 24, 2023. He joined the civil-rights lawsuit challenging the arrests.
