Biography

Deborah Flowers was arrested on February 12, 1971 for alleged unlawful weapon possession and obstruction of a police officer arising from the January 21 Cairo incident. January 21 is the incident date, not the arrest date supplied for her. The United Front of Cairo chronology presents these prosecutions as part of racist repression of Black community organizing. This is the defense publication’s account; it does not establish an individual final discharge or a complete custody duration.
