Biography

Davud Ansariy was arrested in Georgia in August 2026 and extradited to New York on September 23, 2026 after nearly a decade as a fugitive. Federal prosecutors allege that he led a Brooklyn network that raised money and facilitated travel for people seeking to join ISIS or the al-Nusrah Front. He was arraigned in Brooklyn on September 24 and remained in federal custody.
