Biography

Davon De-Andre Turner was federally prosecuted for carrying an incendiary device into the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct during the May 28, 2020 protests following George Floyd’s murder. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson on January 22, 2021. On May 13, 2021, a federal judge sentenced Turner to 36 months in prison, two years of supervised release, and $12 million in joint restitution.
