Biography
The July 1975 Black Community News Letter, Awakening of a Dragon, individually listed Clinton Moody in its "Write to Political Prisoners and POWs" directory, with a correspondence address in P.O. Box 1000, Lewisburg. The listing documents historical confinement but does not establish the underlying charge, sentence, admission or release date, or later custody status.
Right On! (Nov.-Dec. 1972) identified Clinton Moody among the prisoner authors of a political statement from its West Street Section in New York and listed his correspondence address at 427 West Street. This documents historical custody earlier than the July 1975 Lewisburg directory. Admission and release dates, charges, sentence, and continuity between these locations remain unverified.
The newsletter’s individually named political-prisoner directory lists Clinton Moody, prisoner number 73468, at Lewisburg federal prison in July 1975. This establishes historical confinement, not a current address, initial admission, final release, conviction or completed sentence. The number is a historical identifier. No precise custody dates are inferred from publication. Black Community News Letter, volume13, July1975, Awakening of a Dragon, original PDF page 35.
