Biography
Charles W. Post was the Honolulu agent of the Marine Firemen. The October 31, 1935 Voice of the Federation reports that, after he and Max Weisbarth had been beaten, Post was arrested and held for a short time for investigation. Mann Act charges were discussed but did not materialize, and he was released. The account gives no exact arrest or discharge day or measured custody duration. It does not establish that Weisbarth shared this detention. Source: https://archive.ilwu.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/19351031.pdf#page=1
