Biography

Charles Cooper was arrested at the Yonkers police station after going there to inquire about other arrested workers in the May 1929 free-speech campaign. The report groups his case with the May 11 arrests and says the five prosecutions were dismissed May 20. Dismissal is not an exact individual physical release, and no relationship to Henrietta Cooper is assumed.
