C. Holloway was among the Gastonia textile-strike pickets actually arrested and tried on a parading accusation. The May 20 dispatch reports an acquittal at the preceding Saturday’s hearing, indicating May 18, 1929. It gives no individual arrest or discharge date or complete custody duration.
