Biography
Benjamin Persky was an animal-rights activist imprisoned in New York for property destruction during protests against Huntingdon Life Sciences (the anti-HLS campaign).
Earth First! Journal reports that Benjamin Persky was charged with second-degree felony criminal mischief after an April protest in New York City against Huntingdon Life Sciences, during which windows at Marsh Insurance executives' homes were smashed. It says he had been imprisoned since July. The potential six-year term was a possible sentence, not a sentence imposed or time actually served.
The contemporary roster reports a two-to-six-year SHAC protest sentence; actual duration is unestablished.
