Biography

The March 11 dispatch places these five strike supporters in Middlesboro jail and reports concern about transfer to Pineville. It distinguishes them from Joe Yeary, actually released March 10 on $1,000 bond. No physical release, completed sentence or measured total for these five is established. The April 15, 1932 Knoxville dispatch printed April 18 names the prisoner printed A. N. Moore with Jake Hurst as actually released without bond that day. The cohort and place identify the Moore previously named Asa Moore in the March 11 dispatch; the printed initials are retained as a source difference. This supplies a documented April 15 release for the existing Kentucky detention; it is not the April 18 publication day and does not establish a final acquittal or a separately reported completed duration.
