Biography
Arthur Bartl was assistant editor of the Croatian-language weekly Narodni Glasnik and had earned United States citizenship through an Office of Strategic Services mission behind Nazi lines. Federal authorities pursued denaturalization proceedings against him during the 1950s anti-Communist campaign.
