Original case-record clarification
The U.S. Attorney’s August 9, 2019 announcement explicitly states that Harcevic was sentenced that day to 66 months and remanded immediately to the U.S. Marshal to begin the sentence. This establishes August 9, not August 8, as this post-sentence custody start. It does not establish uninterrupted custody since his 2015 arrest or the timing of immigration detention. The office’s May 1, 2019 announcement separately records his guilty plea on February 25, 2019.
