Biography

A Chicago police officer testified that he arrested Antonio Rolich at a Russian Workers Club meeting on August 26, 1919. The 1920 congressional case summary records Rolich disputing membership in the Union of Russian Workers or Communist Party and distinguishing the Union of Russian Young Men, to whose treasurer he had paid money. The officer alleged the club and the Union of Russian Workers were the same organization. Deportation was recommended, but the warrant was canceled March 26. The summary gives no physical release or complete detention duration.
