Andrew Steven Faulkner, 24, of Beaverton OR, charged July 6, 2020 with assaulting federal officers using high-intensity lasers during the July 5-6, 2020 Portland federal courthouse protests. Possessed a sheathed machete at arrest. He pleaded guilty on January 13, 2021. On June 9, 2021, he was sentenced to three years of federal probation including six months of home detention and 40 hours of community service. Home detention is not a jail term.
