Biography

Albert Pitt was a worker jailed for labor activism in Oklahoma. A report of the February 9, 1931 Walden Township farmers’ meeting near Tuttle says that both Albert Pitt and C. L. Fullerton had been jailed for fighting for workers’ interests. Pitt, described as just out of the county jail, spoke on prison conditions; Fullerton spoke on solidarity between workers and poor farmers. The report supplies no individual charge, exact admission, release or actual duration. The county is not specified.
