Biography
A. Hudson was a Marine Workers Industrial Union member arrested at a Philadelphia waterfront meeting organized by the Communist Party and Marine Workers Industrial Union in July 1930. The July 17 dispatch published July 18 individually names this defendant among those arrested at the Friday meeting, describes supporters outside the jail as the prisoners were removed, and announces trial for July 22. Initials are preserved without expansion. No statutory charge, completed outcome, exact physical discharge or total custody is supplied.
