Biography
A. Gaspar was a Portuguese-language labor activist identified at a New Bedford Sacco–Vanzetti memorial in the August 24, 1928 Daily Worker. It explicitly recalls his arrest during the previous year’s demonstrations organized by the Portuguese paper Aluta. This establishes an actual 1927 protest arrest but supplies no precise incident date, charge, release or complete custody duration. The printed initial is not expanded.
