NPPC Announces Virtual Mailing Campaign

National Political Prisoner Coalition
Published Jun 12, 2024

The National Political Prisoner Coalition (NPPC) invites people to send messages of solidarity to political prisoners through its Prisoner Outreach page. Supporters can write a letter online for NPPC to print and mail on their behalf.

Letters help people in prison maintain connections with the world outside and remind them that their communities have not forgotten them. A message can introduce the writer, share words of encouragement, or ask about the recipient's interests and reading.

How to take part

  1. Visit the Prisoner Outreach page and choose a recipient from the prisoner list.
  2. Write your message in the letter form. If you would like the recipient to be able to write back, include your mailing address in the message.
  3. Submit your letter for NPPC to print and mail.

Supporters can also write directly to prisoners using the mailing information in the political prisoner database. Check the recipient's current address and facility mail requirements before sending a letter.

Help cover mailing costs

Printing, envelopes, and stamps are part of keeping this correspondence going. Supporters who wish to help cover those costs can make a donation to NPPC.
