A Cobb County grand jury indicted Katie Marie Kloth, Tyler John Norman and Hannah Kass on April 23, 2026, over a May 12, 2022 protest at Brasfield & Gorrie’s offices. Each faces two counts of second-degree criminal damage to property and one count of arson of land.
Prosecutors allege damage to the building and a fire on the surrounding land. Supporters dispute the characterization of the protest and emphasize that the charges concern land rather than a building fire.
All three had also been named in the broader Stop Cop City racketeering indictment. That charge was dismissed in 2025, and prosecutors appealed the dismissal.
Brasfield & Gorrie was the general contractor for the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. Opponents organized protests at the company as part of their campaign against the project.
